Everyday we are told what we shouldn’t eat, what we should eat and how frequently we should not or should be eating it and with the hundreds of diets (backed by famous faces with fabulous physiques) it is truly amazing that we humans know how to feed ourselves at all!

One food topic that brings much confusion is eating red meat. It could be that because it is so tasty we struggle with this one. There aren’t many mouths that don’t water with the mere mention of a juicy steak. But the conflicting advice that we read on the Internet, in magazines and on TV about red meat has turned it into a guilty pleasure and the health conscious to the ordinary families may choose to avoid it at all costs or spend hours working it off at the gym.

“You shouldn’t eat beef on a daily basis because it sits inside your gut rotting away for months. Red meat is full of fat and contributes to heart disease.”

How about if I told you that red meat can be perfectly healthy and that you can eat steak every day if you want to.
